Chicago Natives Autograf Release New Remix of Alesso’s ‘Cool’

Riding high off the success of their recent debut original release ‘Dream’, Chicago natives and 2015 hot tip Autograf now return to deliver their official take of Swedish producer Alesso’s ‘Cool’.

With the original already garnering over 10 million streams on Spotify alone, this remix is primed for release on Def Jam Recordings and marks the next step up for one of the hottest emerging acts of this year. In the midst of scoring nine Hype Machine number 1’s, racking up millions of plays on SoundCloud, penning their own successful productions and supporting Klingande on his North American tour, this remix is the latest example of truly high quality material delivered by the production trio. Eye Alaska’s frontman Roy English’s smooth vocals pepper along the percussive hits and rhythmic guitar chords, as the track leads up to a blissful marimba-filled anthem that Autograf’s loyal fans have come to revere and new fans will mark down as an early sign of summer.
The three piece are now packing their bags for a touring schedule that’s rapidly building momentum. Playing esteemed festivals such as Hangout Music Fest, Electric Forest, and Northern Nights, Autograf have shown no signs of slowing down as they continue to push the envelope of innovative and fresh sounds in electronic music. With a live show that includes some of the signature instruments that light up their productions and a ton of new music coming as the days get longer, you can be rest assured that summer 2015 will belong to Autograf.

The fourth annual Summer Set Music & Camping Festival (SSMF) returns to the beautiful Somerset Amphitheater in Northern Wisconsin with the festival’s most impressive lineup yet. Known for showcasing an eclectic mix of hip-hop, indie, and jam-style artists alongside some of electronic dance music’s most sought after producers and DJs, SSMF is set to deliver a diverse lineup featuring over 70 artists, performing across five stages.

This year’s headliners include dance music phenomenon DEADMAU5, which marks his only announced Midwest festival appearance, mysterious R&B mega-sensation THE WEEKND, and bass music innovator BASSNECTAR, who returns after an unforgettable set in 2014. Summer Set mainstays BIG GIGANTIC will also return for their fourth year with a very special jam session. Featuring a wide variety of performers across multiple genres, other artists include Action Bronson, Rae Sremmurd, Die Antwoord, and Earl Sweatshirt to Thievery Corporation, Lotus, Odesza, Tune Yards, Shiba San, Carnage, Tchami, and more to round out the bill.
Tickets are on sale now at www.summersetfestival.com!
As Summer Set continues to grow, the festival grounds will once again expand to provide music enthusiasts with the ultimate experience and atmosphere. For the second year in a row, the festival adds another stage with increased production, bringing the total number of stages to five. The new stage, dubbed A Live One, will feature critically acclaimed bands with live performances from Purity Ring, Tycho, Tanlines, Lettuce, Railroad Earth, and many more.
2015 marks a special year for Summer Set’s hip-hop fans as Wu Tang’s Ghostface Killah hits the stage with Toronto jazz trio BADBADNOTGOOD for one of their notorious live performances. Additionally, in celebration of the 20-year anniversary since the release of their renowned second album, which includes the Grammy Award-Winning Song “Tha Crossroads,” Bone Thugs-N-Harmony will be performing their full-length album E. 1999 Eternal in full.
To accompany the eclectic lineup, Summer Set provides festival-goers with affordable VIP camping packages that offers unrivaled amenities and perks, including private restrooms and showers, full assistance from dedicated VIP staff members, access to all after parties, and private viewing areas at the Main Stage and Grove Stage, plus much more. Attendees will be provided with preferred on-site parking and advanced entry to “The Woods” VIP campgrounds, beginning on Thursday August 14th at 4:00 pm, ahead of the General Admission ticket holders. Free professional massages, and an additional mini-stage featuring intimate DJ sets exclusive to VIP campers, will also join the VIP amenities in 2015.
SSMF has taken extensive fan feedback into consideration and is dedicated to providing the best possible experience year after year for the fans and artists. Camping prices have been significantly reduced, starting as low as $99 per campsite, which equals roughly $22/person to camp for the weekend, and there will be more experiential interactive elements than in past years.

Interview with Caked Up

A year and a half after Caked Up catapulted onto the dance music scene thanks to their raucous online presence and viral content bravado, the Las Vegas duo signed to Dim Mak Records with fistfuls of party-starting tunes in tow.
The newly-minted partnership kicks off with the tandem’s upcoming electro stomper “Rave Police.” Out February 10, the percussion-driven release layers grungy synths and thumping bass kicks atop sexy vocal samples of a female cop asking listeners “did you come here to rave?”
Caked Up fans can get down to “Rave Police” live in all its stadium-smashing glory as the tag-team joins Dim Mak ringleader Steve Aoki for his Neon Future Experience Tour. Presented by Dim Mak and brought to you by Bud Light, the tour begins February 13 in Austin and canvasses North America for over 20 stops, hitting major markets including New York City, Washington D.C., Chicago, Toronto and Boston.
After releasing records on tastemaking imprints such as Mad Decent, Fool’s Gold and Buygore, Caked Up has carved out a home for their notorious brand of rollicking antics. Their studio work is bass-fueled and drum-heavy, frequently furnished with chopped up vocal samples, jagged synths and unapologetically blistering drops. The pair’s monster original outputs are matched only by their officially-commissioned remixes for artists such as A-trak, The Chainsmokers and Flosstradamus.
Comprised of Oscar Wylde and his counterpart Vegas Banger, Caked Up is a homegrown internet sensation born through Oscar’s savvy self-promotion on Vine which earned him the undying adoration of 1.6 million followers to his personal account. Caked Up’s ever-ballooning social media empire aside, the duo is backed by 10+ years of combined DJ experience and an authentic performance chemistry that has ignited crowds at TomorrowWorld, Spring Awakening and Hangout Festival to name a few.
Whether they’re cranking out spine-shaking tracks or soundtracking dance floors across the country, Caked Up is on an unrepentant mission to inject their hallmark boisterous verve into electronic music’s history books.
